The Armed Forces of Malta have recovered an unidentified body that was spotted near Filfla on Friday morning.

The discovery was made at around 10:30am.

The police said no details are available at this stage.

The body was taken to the AFM’s base in Haywharf, Floriana.

District police assisted in the operation. Magistrate Yana Micallef Stafrace is leading an inquiry.
