Police are filing charges against four people who urged a man to jump off the Valletta bastions last month.

Shocking footage of the 19 November incident was published by Times of Malta.

Passers-by stopped at the Valletta City Gate bridge to watch police officials and first responders attempt to help the man, successfully convincing him to step away from the edge.

But the video also showed other individuals who showed little sympathy, urging the man to “get it over with.”

Police told ONE News that the people identified have been interrogated and will be prosecuted.
