69 new cases of Covid-19 were reported by health authorities on Sunday, as the number of people who have recovered from the virus has now started to increase.
In fact, 123 people have recovered from the virus, taking the number of active cases down to 1,293.
19 patients – two less than Saturday – are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, while three of those – one more than Saturday – are in intensive care.
971,433 doses of the vaccine have been administered by health authorities so far, with 132,189 of those being booster doses.
Malta has had 39,842 cases of Covid-19. 37,762 of those have recovered, while 468 have died.
