Alessandro Farrugia has resigned as Communications Director of the Nationalist Party.

In a statement, the PN said Farrugia has resigned due to “personal reasons.”

Simon Vella Gregory has been appointed Acting Communications Director of Information. The PN said a new Communications Director will be appointed in line with the party statute.

Nationalist Party Leader Bernard Grech thanked Alessandro Farrugia for the work he carried out over the past year. Farrugia was one of the main figures in Grech’s leadership election campaign.
