Valletta Christmas attraction closed temporarily after wind damage

Tuesday, 7 December 2021, 14:42 Last update: about 3 years ago

A Christmas attraction outside City Gate in Valletta has been temporarily closed because of damage caused to some structures by the wind, the organisers said.

The attraction was due to be officially opened by Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo this evening at 6pm, but the ceremony has been postponed.

“Unfortunately, due to the heavy winds last night, Fairyland has sustained light damages to some structures and decor within the venue. Due to that all, staff are busy working to rebuild the affected areas,” the organisers said.
