87 new cases of Covid-19 were registered on Wednesday as 61 people recovered from the virus.

This brings up the number of active cases in Malta to 1,363.

Currently, 26 people are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, four of whom are in the ITU.

978,775 doses of the vaccine have thus far been administered, 141,243 of which were booster shots.

Malta has had 40,096 cases of the virus. 37,946 of those have recovered, while 468 have died.
