A biker was grievously injured following a crash in San Gwann on Saturday morning.

The police said the accident took place in Sliema Road at 9.30am.

The biker, a man aged 56 of Siggiewi, was riding a Yamaha which was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi ASX, driven by a 44-year-old man of Gzira.

The biker was taken to hospital for treatment.
