A man was slightly injured during a hold-up that took place in Paola on Friday evening.
The robbery took place in Triq Ghajn Dwieli, at around 9:15pm, the police said.
Two masked men brandishing firearms entered a shop and demanded money from the cashier and a client. The men ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The client, a 26-year-old man from Kalkara, was treated at the Paola health centre for slight injuries. The cashier was unhurt.
The police are looking for the robbers while Magistrate Nadine Lia has launched an inquiry.
