315 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Sunday, as the number of cases continues to rise.

Currently there are 2,720 active cases of the virus in the country.

Since the start of the pandemic, Malta has had 97,872 cases of Covid-19, with 94,026 recoveries.

A total of 730 people have died with the virus, remaining unchanged since the previous day.

The Health Ministry has stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which show details about the pandemic in Malta.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and the details about people who had died are not included in the dataset.
