A motorcyclist was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Gzira on Wednesday morning.

The police said the accident took place in Mikiel Anton Vassalli Road, at 7.30am.

The biker, a 30-year-old man of San Gwann, was riding a Lexmoto Valiant 125 which was involved in a collision with a Daihatsu Terios driven by a 49-year-old man of St Paul’s Bay.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
