A teenager suffered grievous injured after she was caught on a metal grate of a private residence in Fgura on Tuesday, the police said.

The accident happened in Triq is-Sur at 9pm.

The police said that the girl, aged 13, slipped and was caught on the grate.

Civil Protection Department members went on site to assist the girld before she was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
