Authorities have advised bathers not to swim at Fond Għadir in Sliema due to a sewage overflow.
The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health notified on Thursday that as a precaution and until further notice, bathing is not recommended at Fond Għadir, underneath the steps, Sliema (Site Code: B12) due to the presence of sewage overflow affecting bathing water quality and presenting a risk to bathers’ health.
The officials from the same Directorate are investigating further the issue.
