The Malta Film Commission has launched Jurassic World attractions in three cities around the country.

The film 'Jurassic World - Dominion' was partly shot in Malta last June.

The aim of this initiative is for Malta to take the opportunity and improve the screen tourism niche through which tourists, together Maltese and Gozitan families, can experience Jurassic World not only on screen, but also in the spots where this film was shot.

The dinosaur attractions will be present in Valletta, Birgu and Mellieħa until the end of summer, Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo and the Commissioner for Films Johann Grech said.

Bartolo said that these attractions will serve as a platform for Malta to continue being an attractive destination in the world of cinema and tourism. "This initiative will also be an important contributor for family tourism. This is another important niche for the tourism performance of our country, to continue to combine two very important principles, those of quality and consistency."

The Commissioner for Films Johann Grech said that the Commission will continue to work to reach its main goal of having a world class film industry that offers opportunities to everyone.
