47 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Tuesday, as one patient passed away while positive for the virus.

The number of active cases has dropped to 799.

Since the start of the pandemic, 113,335 Covid cases were registered in Malta, 111,344 of which recovered. 796 people have died while Covid positive.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which show details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and the details about people who had died are not included in the dataset.
