42 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Wednesday, with one patient dying while positive for the virus.

This brings the number of active cases down to 380.

Since the start of the pandemic, 113,627 virus cases have been registered, of which 112,053 have recovered.

798 people have died while positive for Covid-19.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
