23 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Wednesday, and two people died while positive with the virus.

Currently the country has 246 active Covid-19 cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, Malta has had 114,628  Covid-19 cases, of which 113,180 recovered. There have been a total of 806 deaths.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
