San Anton School mourns passing of staff member

San Anton School is mourning the passing of its head of operations, Pierre Camilleri, who has passed away.

In a statement on Facebook, the school said: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dearest colleague and Head of Operations, Pierre Camilleri. May he be granted eternal rest and may the Lord watch over his wife Josette and children Nicola and Julian, during this most difficult time. We kindly ask you to keep them in your prayers."

Colleagues and friends posted beneath the school's post.

PN MP Adrian Delia said: "Rest now my friend with those like you, who do not seek to take; those loyal till the end strong friends do make; and smile you will, not only once again; but forever more in God's eternal reign. Deepest condolences to the family"

Students, parents and friends expressed their regret on Facebook.
