Michael Briguglio is a dad, sociologist and drummer.
He has a doctorate in sociology and is a senior lecturer within the Department of Sociology, University of Malta. He has published various scholarly books and articles, and his main research interests are environmental sociology, movements and politics.
Briguglio is an op-ed columnist with The Malta Independent and has previously been active in numerous civil society and political campaigns and roles. He is the drummer of Fire and Norm Rejection respectively. I am Public Relations Officer of the Malta Sociological Association.
Michael lives with his partner Gail and their blended family of three kids, David, Keira and Rose.
