A worker injured his hand while working with machinery in at his workplace in Ghaxaq, the police said.
The accident took place in Triq ic-Cimiterju at 9am on Friday.
The worker, a 47-year-old man from Macedonia, who resides in Marsascala, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
