Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri has said that he is satisfied that the police took effective and immediate steps so that those allegedly responsible for the murder of a woman in Gzira and the assault on four teenagers in Valletta, were arraigned in court.
"Every person would want the best for their children, and when their children go out, that they have the peace of mind that they would not run into any trouble. The case that occurred in Valletta a few days ago, after another ugly case in Gzira, disgusted everyone," he said.
"The people will continue to find the forces of order, with all the resources they need, to protect them, and together send a message to those who consider taking such actions to think twice. I invite all those who, in any form need help, to accept or seek out help, and understand that life is more beautiful in a community that respects one another."
