A biker was grievously injured on Sunday afternoon when he lost control of the bike he was riding and crashed, the police said.

The accident took place on the Regional Road, Santa Venera, at 2.45pm.

The biker, an Indian 31-year-old man who resides in Sliema, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

He was riding a Peugeot Tweet.
