Another tremor has hit Malta this morning as seismic activity to the south of the islands continues.

The most recent shake was felt at 7.04am on Saturday morning with the epicentre some 120 kilometres to the south of Malta.

Residents in the south of Malta as well as others living on the east side of the country reported feeling the tremor.

There have been multiple reports of tremors in the area since the start of the year.
