Hundreds of people turned up outside Parliament building in Valletta on Monday evening as the House of Representatives discussed the rescinded hospitals deal.
On Friday, a judge ruled that the deal reached by the government for the privatisation of three hospitals is annulled.
The House this evening debated the rescinded deal, with the Nationalist Party spokesmen insisting that the government brings back the millions of euros spent since the deal went through and Labour spokesmen doing their best to distance themselves from the agreement which had been reached when Joseph Muscat was Prime Minister and Konrad Mizzi Minister for Health.
In the hours preceding the debate the Nationalist Party publicly called for people to turn up in Valletta to protest against the deal.
