ADPD - The Green Party Chairperson Carmel Cacopardo has requested the Auditor General to investigate the employment contract awarded by the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) to Labour MP Rosianne Cutajar.

In his request Cacopardo stated that the contract – that has been published by the electronic news media ShiftNews thanks to right to information legislation – lays out that Cutajar was engaged to provide financial administration services to ITS. It is however well known that she does not have any competence in this area.

Cacopardo asked the Auditor General to establish whether public funds have been abused of in this case by ITS through the creation of a fictitious job to satisfy Cutajar’s greed.

Last week, in chats between Cutajar and Yorgen Fenech published by Mark Camilleri, Cutajar speaks about how people “were pigging up” on consultancies and appointments.
