A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a collision in Attard on Thursday morning, the police said.

The accident took place in Mdina Road at 8am.

The biker, a 44-year-old man from Mellieha, who was riding a Suzuki, was involved in a collision with a Suzuki Swift driven by a 25-year-old woman, also of Mellieha.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
