Justice Minister Jonathan Attard said that there are currently 30 pending inquiries looking into damages or deaths in construction sites.

Attard was answering a parliamentary question made by PN MP Graziella Galea, who asked how many inquiries are currently ongoing in the Maltese courts, with regards to damages or deaths which have occurred in construction sites.

Galea also asked for information about which construction sites are the subjects of ongoing inquiries.

Attard said that there are 30 pending inquiries, but cited the terms of Article 518, saying that he could not give information on which construction sites are involved in such inquiries.
