A man was arrested on Saturday morning after the police found drugs worth €130,000 in a residence in Luqa.
The police said that at 6.30am, officers surrounded the man in Marsa. During a search in his car, the police found several packets of drugs ready to be sold and three mobile phones.
The police later carried out a search in a residence in Luqa, where they found some 2.5 kilos of heroin and 0.5 kilos of cocaine, with a street value of €130,000.
Magistrate Marse-Ann Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
The man, aged 31, is being held for questioning.
