A worker was critically injured on Friday afternoon when he fell two storeys off a balcony, the police said.

The accident happened in Salini Street, Marsascala, at 4.30pm.

The worker, a man aged 26 from St Paul’s Bay, was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
