A man was grievously injured and another was arrested following a fight in Fgura on Friday afternoon, the police said.

The incident took place at 4pm in Pace Grasso Street.

On arriving on site, the police found a 25-year-old man with stab wounds, while his aggressor had escaped.

The injured man, from Kalkara, was taken to hospital for treatment.

The police later arrested the alleged aggressor, a man aged 39, from Fgira.
