A teenager was grievously injured on Sunday morning when he was hit by a car in Attard, the police said.

The accident took place in Ta’ Torba Street at 11.30am.

The 13-year-old boy was hit by a Toyota RAV4 driven by a 43-year-old man of Marsascala.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
