Carnival floats will be parked in St James Ditch rather than the Floriana Granaries to protect them from the elements, a joint statement by Festivals Malta and Malta Public Transport said.

As such, the Zone B and Zone C termini will change location temporarily from Saturday and until Tuesday at 6pm.

Zone B will transfer to Triq San Publiju and Zone C to Triq Sarria.

The following Carnival routes will be affected:

Zona B:

B3: Routes 21, 22, X4

B4: Routes 24, 25, 32, 35

B5: Routes 31, 45, 48

B6: Routes 41, 42, 49, 250

B7: Routes 44, 47, 238

B8: Routes 43, 46, 260

Zona C:

C1: Routes 50, 58A, 58

C2: Routes 51, 52, 53

C3: Routes 54, 56

C4: Routes 61

C5: Routes 62

C6: Routes 63, 64
