Parts of Malta were this afternoon hit by a hailstorm, with a white sheet blanketing roads and other public places.
Other areas were spared the downpour, with only slight rain reported.
The photo above shows the university sports complex, in Msida, while the others below were taken in San Gwann.
Other areas hit included Mosta, Naxxar, St Julian's, Gzira and Attard.
The Met Office forecast strong winds and thundery showers for today.
