The police seized just over 492kg of cocaine in 2023 Home Affairs Minister Byron Camilleri said on Tuesday.

The minister was replying to a parliamentary question by PN MP Darren Carabott.

Camilleri also listed other drugs which were seized, such as 7.84kg of Heroin, 1.50kg of Cannabis Resin, 154.26kg of cannabis Grass, 0.68kg of Ecstasy, 3.50kg of Magic mushrooms, 0.03kg of Crack cocaine, 2.97kg of Cannabis joints, 0.11kg of MDMA Powder, 0.02kg of Amphetamine, 73 Cannabis plants, 500ml/0.5l of Methadone, 10,000kg of Khat, 19,000g in cutting agent, 0.035kg of scheduled synthetic, 0.002kg of non-scheduled synthetics; 4.80kg of Ketamine, 1740 pills of 2C-B and 0.0012kg (1.19 grams) of pink cocaine.

In a table presented, the minister also indicated that for the same there was also a total of 83 reported drug trafficking incidents.
