Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech on Tuesday urged the three elected PN MEPs to focus on the people's quality of life.

Grech met Roberta Metsola, David Casa and Peter Agius at the European Parliament in Bruseels, where he also attended a European People’s Party meeting.

A Nationalist Party statement said Grech again congratulated the MEPs on their election.

The meeting touched on various issues such as tax harmonisation, civil rights, food security and farmers' rights.  

Grech also congratulated Metsola, who is the EPP's only candidate for a second term as EP president, a post she has held for the last two and a half years.
