The Nationalist Party has demanded that all the authorities and institutions in the country "use the powers and resources at their disposal to uncover what led to the tragic death of Karl Gouder."
"In this tragic situation, we understand that it is in the interest of everyone involved in public life to discover the truth, and if someone contributed to Karl Gouder's death, they should face justice. Whoever they are, wherever they are from," the PN said.
The PN reiterates its full solidarity with Karl Gouder's family and joins them in their call for information.
"We urge people of goodwill who have relevant information to pass it on directly to Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici," the PN said.
"No one should be afraid to speak about what they know. The Nationalist Party will be a shelter and a support for those who choose to help in the search for truth and justice. We expect and demand the same from the authorities and institutions of our country."
The tragic death of Karl Gouder has deeply wounded Karl Gouder's family, his friends and colleagues, as well as the leadership and roots of the PN, the party said. "This is a pain we will continue to live with, and we are determined to treat it as a daily reminder of the need to care for each other and for the society we form part of."
"We want justice, not revenge. The Nationalist Party firmly believes that justice is a virtue essential for the well-being of all of us living together," the party said.
