Information was also available on community services, home-based therapeutic services, as well as other support services for parents and children. Security and enforcement entities were also present with interactive activities and exhibitions for the public. There were games for children, crafts, and sports activities. Attendees could also enjoy traditional Maltese food.

This event was organised by the Directorate for Sustainable Development within the Ministry as part of the Sustainable Development Action Days, with the theme "Shaping Together the Future We Want."

The Director for Sustainable Development within the Ministry, Francine Pace Caruana, expressed her satisfaction that year after year, public participation continues to grow. "The purpose of activities like today's is precisely to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals; goals that Malta, along with other United Nations countries, aims to achieve by 2030," Pace Caruana said.

This year's Sustainable Development Action Days are taking place between September 18 and October 8, as part of the European Week for Sustainable Development, with over 30 activities planned across Malta and Gozo. These activities are being organised in collaboration with government entities, NGOs, and individuals.
