Two bikers were injured on Wednesday in separate accidents in Zejtun and Kirkop, the police said Thursday.

The first accident, in Ghar Dalam Streetr, Zejtun, at 4.15pm, a biker riding a Yamaha GPD was involved in a collision with a Suzuki Swift being driven by a 46-year-old man of Ghaxaq.

The biker, a man aged 31, also of Ghaxaq, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

At 8.30pm, in Valletta Road, Kirkop, a biker riding a Suzuki GSX was involved in a crash with a Toyota Vitz driven by a 34-year-old man of Kirkop.

The biker, a man aged 29 from Marsa, was also grievously jurt.
