TV clips intended to inform public about budget measures, PL says

Television clips that the Nationalist Party is complaining about are intended to inform the public about measures listed in the budget for 2025, the Labour Party said.

In a press conference, deputy leader Alex Agius Saliba said that the PN had resorted to legal action to stop the broadcasting of informative clips on TV.

These clips are aired every year to inform the public about the measures announced in the budget, Agius Saliba said.

The PN is a party of double standards because while it is trying to stop these clips from being broadcast on national TV, it saw nothing wrong in broadcasting them on its own station NET.

MEP Daniel Attard said that rather than being constructive in its criticism, the PN is trying to create hurdles to the government's work and seeking to stop it from informing the public on the measures that it is taking to make things better for families and business.
