Two children aged 6 and 11 were among four persons injured in a traffic accident in St Paul's Bay on Saturday evening.

The accident, which took place on the St Paul's Bay bypass at 11pm, involved a Toyota Vitz driven by a 29-year-old man of Mgarr and a Honda Fit driven by a 40-year-old man from Mosta, who had a woman aged 35 of Xaghra and the two children, a boy and a girl, riding as passengers.

The Toyota driver was unhurt but the four persons in the Honda were taken to hospital for treatment. The woman suffered grievous injuries while the other three were slightly hurt.
