The new business hub, Avenue 77, has been opened and is to be expanded in the Mriehel Central Business District, a government statement said.

Economy Minister Silvio Schembri made a visit to Avenue 77, saying that it is a testament to solidifying the Central Business District's reputation as a premier business hub in Malta.

Avenue 77 began operations last year and spans 3,000 square meters, primarily offering office spaces and plug-and-play workstations.

Additional work is currently underway on a 500-square-meter expansion, which will also cater to high-end office needs.

With a commercial centre on the ground floor and business facilities on the upper levels, Avenue 77 accommodates businesses of all sizes, from startups to established companies.

"This hub provides advanced technology, innovative design, and expansion aligned with the government's commitment to enhancing productivity within the business community," Schembri said.

In addition to office space, he said that the location offers retail outlets, further enhancing the Central Business District as a comprehensive business centre with convenient amenities nearby.

Managing Director of Avenue 77 Chris Casapinta said that as the demand for office spaces in Malta continues to grow, the expansion of Avenue 77 creates more opportunities for businesses to thrive locally.

The visit also saw the participation of CEO of the Central Business District Carmelo Abela along with the Avenue 77 leadership team.
