HSBC is undertaking a major upgrade of its branches and ATMs around Malta and Gozo.

It is inviting the public to visit the revamped, modern and user-friendly branches, complete with piped background music, ATMs and deposit machines and, increasingly, plasma TV screens and coffee machines, and experience a marked difference, not only in the branch environment, but also in the type of consumer service being given.

HSBC head of branch banking Ray Briffa said: “All my colleagues are looking forward to meeting new and prospective customers to show them around the stylish and welcoming branches and have a chat. HSBC has 41 branches and agencies in Malta and Gozo as well as a new business banking centre located alongside its operations centre in Qormi.
