Prime Minister is dishonest on election result - PN deputy leader Beppe Fenech Adami

Saturday, 18 April 2015, 11:17 Last update: about 10 years ago

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat is being dishonest when triumphantly speaking of a historic win for the Labour Party – since it was clear from the outset that the 34 localities where elections were held were overall Labour leaning.

Giving his comments to The Malta Independent, Dr Fenech Adami said that the PN increased its share of the votes in all localities in Malta, and that this showed that the PN was making inroads.

He said that the situation in Gozo was different, as the PN had lost one locality. The PN needs to take stock of the situation in Gozo and find out what needs to be done for the Gozitans to turn back to the PN.
