On Sunday 17 March, Lions Club Mdina organised High Tea at Verdala castle, under the Patronage of Her Excellency President of Malta Marie Louise Coleiro Preca.

The spectacular setting of the beautiful Verdala castle made the event an unforgettable occasion.

Well over a hundred members and guests attended the event. Tea and refreshments were served.

A welcome speech was delivered by her Excellency Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and Lion President Judith Debono.

Dr Ivan Mifsud, on behalf of Richmond Foundation, highlighted the work being done by the foundation.

Funds raised during the event were in aid of 'Training young people for Mental Health First Aid Awareness'.
