Green Screen – The Irish Film Season

The festival, which started on 31 March, includes award-winning feature films as well as a acclaimed documentaries, short films and Oscar-nominated animation.

Organised by the Irish Film Institute and funded by the Irish Film Board, the festival promises to offer an exciting glimpse into Irish film as it gains worldwide recognition, providing a celebration of Irish art and culture.

The festival was opened by film director Barry Dignam, whose short film Chicken is part of the festival.

The festival, which is currently touring many of the accession countries including Bulgaria, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia, Cyprus, Poland and the Czech Republic, is an eclectic mix of drama, comedy and historical films.
