Working With the Working Time Directive

The conference will be held at The Westin Dragonara Resort, St. Julian’s, and will discuss some of the burning issues surrounding the introduction of the 'Organisation of Working Time' Legal Notice, due to come into effect in Malta on 5 April.

Speakers at this conference shall include top representatives of some of the main stakeholder organisations including the Department of Industrial and Employment Relations, the General Workers' Union, the Union Haddiema Maghqudin, the Federation of Industry, the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association, the Occupational Health and Safety Authority and the Malta Employers Association.

The FHRD is also pleased to announce that Prof. Patricia Leighton, Jean Monnet Chair in European Law, University of Glamorgan, Wales, an expert on EU Law and its application across the EU states, shall also be presenting a keynote address at the conference.
