On Wednesday of Holy Week at 6pm, Mgr Cauchi will lead a penitential service at St George’s basilica.

On Holy Thursday at the Cathedral Church Mgr Cauchi will be the celebrant at a concelebrated mass to commemorate the institution of the Catholic priesthood All priests will renew the vows of their ordination. The blessing of the holy oils that will be used at the celebration of the sacraments of the Anointing of the Sick, Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders will take place. The Mass begins at 8.30am.

In the evening, at 6.30pm. the Solemn Memorial of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at the Cathedral Church. At the end of Mass the Blessed Sacrament will be carried to the altar of repose, where it will remain for the adoration of the faithful.

On Good Friday, at 4pm., Mgr Cauchi will preside the liturgy at the Cathedral that will commemorate the Lord’s passion and death. The adoration of the Cross will take place at this liturgy.

On Holy Saturday, at 8pm the Easter Vigil Mass will be celebrated by Mgr Cauchi at the Cathedral.

On Easter Sunday at 9am Mgr Cauchi will celebrate the Easter Sunday Mass at the Cathedral. At 11am Mgr Cauchi will celebrate the Easter Sunday liturgy at St George’s Basilica.
