According to the police, at 2.45am yesterday morning they received a report that a car was ablaze in St Julian’s. Half-an-hour later they received another report of a car on fire in Qormi which was followed by a third report of a car and a bus on fire in Marsa.

The fires were extinguished by Civil Protection Department personnel.

Duty magistrate Miriam Hayman was informed of the incidents and appointed various experts to assist in drawing up on-site reports. Police from various districts are investigating.
