Alison Bezzina said she found the three tiny animals in a half-full water tank on her roof. “One of them almost drowned but I managed to get to them in time.

They are about four to five weeks old, two males and a female. They are perfectly healthy and are being weaned,” she said.

Ms Bezzina said an animal-loving family is housing them for the next two weeks but will not be able to keep them after that. She appealed for anyone wanting to adopt the animals to help in finding a home for them.
