The event is being organised by the Malta Medical Students’ Association.

The MMSA was one of the many student organisations which recently called for the reversal of the decision to postpone the introduction of the smoking ban in bars and restaurants.

These organisations, which form part of the Social Policy Commission of the University Students’ Council, said the decision to postpone the introduction of the smoking ban by between six to 12 months was wrong and they also criticised the “bullying tactics” used by the Association of General Retailers and Traders to get their own way.
