Membership to the University .Net Club is free and through it students will be eligible to compete for summer internships with Microsoft and its partners. Members will also be able to take part in final year projects sponsored by Microsoft.
Therefore, with guidance from the University the students will be able to get hands-on experience with Microsoft, together with the practical experience they need.
The University .Net Club will allow members to have access to local Microsoft events, receive educational promotions on software and pre-releases of software, as well as participate in Microsoft developmental meetings.
Around 2,000 students are expected to join the club and expand their knowledge of IT.
